The Hugos… I played a very important role in 2011’s. My job was to lead the cortège of the pro writers from the party room thru the casino’s labyrinthine corridors to the Ceremony’s hall. If Grant Kruger and I had taken a wrong turn (and there were many possible wrong turns), all the nominees would have been misplaced.
