It was funny, when I met him in July. His parents had given me a kid's book to read to him. I must have done a great job in spite of my accent because he spent the rest of the evening choosing this or that title from his stack for me to read to him while he was sitting in my lap.

Me too. And I could say that, when the President was 2 months old, he fell asleep on my chest.

And quite a talent for music apparently. His dad recently bought him a cello and, in no time, he had broken all of its strings.

He is indeed a little guy, but let's put it this way. There's only one person in the whole family, including nephews and in-laws, who shows any excess of verticality, and that's yours truly.

Not only that, but I was sleeping too. It had been a delay-filled flight to the Bay Area.

By the way, we don't hold it against the future President that the day of his birth also is that of Rush Limbaugh. (Although his mom did say "Gross!" when I told her.)
