See Delphi and Die

Did some shopping at my Borders on 6-6-6.

Got Tim Eldred's SF graphic novel Grease Monkey, about a young human cadet who becomes the assistant to a starship's mechanic who also happens to be an 800-pound genetically altered gorilla.

Lidnsey Davis's latest historical mystery about Marcus Didius Falco... I don't know what See Delphi and Die is about, but it's a Falco story and that's all I need to know. As for what you need to know, think what would have happened if Raymond Chandler's Marlowe had lived in Ancient Rome.

Besides that... Vol.9 of Mystery Science Theater doesn't contain the movie The Day The Earth Froze. But it does have Women of the Prehistoric Planet.

Last but not least... The 2nd and last DVD set of The Time Tunnel... It also contains Irwin Allen's later TV movie Time Travellers. And the unaired pilot for 2002's The Time Tunnel, a remake that's not supposed to be very good. But the set contains the episode of the original show where silver-skinned aliens invade a 19th century town of the West so that they can steal the local cow herds.
