sergebroom: (Wolverine in black)
Note to self... When trimming the past-their-bloom ends of plants in the flower beds, make sure that the hand holding the cutters doesn't come too fast and too close to the hand holding a bunch of plants together. If not for the resistance offered by my index's nail, the cutters would probably have sliced off the very tip of my left index. That was last evening and I had washed the wound under hot water because those cutters probably aren't the most hygienic of blades. This morning, the cut appears to be healing well. No tenderness, no swelling. No change in body temperature. It looks like things will be ok.
