blues overcome by greens

I was feeling a bit blue yesterday, after the reactions to my project's results, which ranged from indifferent to hostile (even though it'd mean the removal of two servers from our system's overall architecture), that I decided to treat myself. In spite of the danger they might cause to my boyish figure, I bought guacamole-flavored chips. I also acquired the hardcover of Jay Lake's new novel, Green.
