Cecil B DeMille's silent film from 1929, The Godles Girl, is on. The description in Turner Classic Movie's guide:

A young couple's flirtation with atheism leads to disaster.

Disaster apparently includes a trip to Joe Bob Briggs territory, because I came in at scenes of the girl in prison, and all the inmates are breaking out, and one of them must dislike the girl because she exclaims:

"Put the blonde Sardine behind the gate!"
