mechanical romance

Last Friday, Turner Classic Movies showed a mystery movie. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact time, what with my being busy with other things and running around. This means I can't pinpoint exactly which movie it was and I'd have liked to make sure I can transcribe the exact line uttered by one character when he finds out that someone else broke up with his girlfriend. I think it went like this.

"That's too bad. The two of you made beautiful player-piano music together."
