I took Freya back home yesterday morning. She's been spending most of her time sleeping or resting. Going around on 3 legs isn't exactly easy for my girl. This morning though, when my wife and I came back from the physical therapy, Freya was standing and wagging her tail. She's still not putting any weight on her leg, and I've been told it'll take a couple of weeks before she starts using her leg, but this is progress. I give her aspirin to help with the pain. I've had to tsk her a few times when I caught her nibbling at the cut that goes along the length of her thigh.

Should you wonder why I haven't been visiting my usual blogospheric haunts much these last few weeks, it's because I've been in a movie. Let me rephrase that. I haven't been involved in the making of a film, but my life has felt like one, thanks to the demands of corporate life. True, there were few times when I was shackled to an atomic bomb that I had to stop beforhe it detonated winside the corporate equivalent of Fort Knox. Most of the time, it's been like "North by Northwest". No, I didn't have a bus slam its doors shut on me before it drove off. There has been plenty of running around though, trying to juggle all the tasks thrown my way and trying to survive it all. On the bright side, I didn't have James Mason sending crop dusters after me.
