sergebroom: (Crazy)
This house of ours is quite the attraction. A couple of months ago, a baby tarantula tried to sneak into our garage. This morning, I found a scorpion in our kitchen. Sure, it was more than 2 inches long, but it was a vinegaroon scorpion, which, instead of a stinger, has a filament and defends itself with a vinegary smell. What did I do with our unexpected guest? I put an upside-down bowl on top of it, then slid a manila envelope under it, after which I carried the arthropod outside.

Oh, and in case you're interested, and especially if you are NOT, here is the baby tarantula...
