"Rachel rising"
May. 10th, 2012 07:15 am"Obviously I'm not dead, Jet. Look at me."
"You look dead!"
"I'm having a rough night, okay? Cut me some slack - you're starting to hurt my feelings!"
So says Rachel to her friend Jet and to her aunt Johnny while lying on the slab at the morgue.
Yes, Terry Moore, author of "Echo" and of "Strangers in Paradise", has another comic-book out. I'm not sure how I came to discover "Rachel Rising" only a couple of days ago even though it already has 7 issues out. The silver lining is that allowed me to skip the wait between issues of a story that begins with Rachel coming out of a shallow grave in the countryside of small town Manson, which is experiencing something of a problem with deaths, and dead people who won't stay demised.
Now I have to wait for the next installment.
