one of my democratic duties

I just took care of one of my democratic duties. No, I didn't ask for an absentee ballot as, being hale of limb, I always vote in person and these last few times I managed to be the first to vote at our polling station. Which democratic duty do I then speak of? I sent out the payment for our federal and state quarterly taxes.
