friends

A few weeks ago, one of our users suddenly had her employment terminated and I never could find out what happened. I know she's alive, and she's not alone, but that's it. I wrote and got no response. I called her cell phone and always wound up in her voicemail, and my messages remained unanswered. That disappoints me because I thought of her as a friend, and she had called me a friend too. Maybe the word means something different for her. If she doesn't value my friendship, that's her loss.
