girl empowerement

My new minion started working yesterday, and, since I'm on vacation, my former minion has shown her usual initiative and has been arranging for other team members to give him the basic knowledge he'll need to do his job. I'm amused that, last week, she asked if I was mad at her for her questionning some mistaken assertion I had made about our system. I laughed, of course.

the space race - part two

Let's say that an astronaut is literally riding a very powerful rocket, or a space drive that vibrates so much that it'd be deafening if it happened inside a planet's atmosphere. Will the astronaut actually 'hear' the engine's loud noise thru the spacesuit, or will it all be muffled?
