my first day in the Bay Area

So said the bus this morning when it reached the BART station. Thankfully it didn't sound like David Warner otherwise I'd have worried about meeting with my co-workers. The day turned out like my normal work day, with my doing most of my productive work until everybody showed up. On the other hand, I managed to fix a problem with our database's information AND, when one of the kids asked me to help with a program that had mysteriously failed, it worked when *I* ran it. That can't hurt my standing, especially with the boss scheduled to show up tomorrow for our yearly reviews.
