Today, our team lead's henchman suggested that, to save time, programmers should begin programming before users have given their formal signoff to a project's specs.

I went to Barnes & Noble tonight and was taking a look at the new F/SF books when one of the employees approached me. He thought I was an author and offered to put my books on the table allocated to the locals. It turns out that he remembered me from last year's Bubonicon. I guess I did a good job on that Space Opera panel. Maybe I should have said I write as Melinda Snodgrass.
