testing the leeway

Last night I unsealed one of our milk jugs for the first time and poured myself a glass. This morning I was going to have another glass when I noticed that the expiration date had been 7 days ago. I knew the date has some leeway in it, but not that much. I decided not to further test how far the leeway goes.
