"Sorry, Miss. I was giving myself an oil job."

I saw Jean Cocteau's "Forbidden Planet" this afternoon. I mean that I saw "Forbidden Planet" at Santa Fé's Jean Cocteau Cinema, newly re-opened by its new owner - George RR Martin. I hope he has plans to show other SF classics.

Latest from my yard report... Before we went to see that SF classic on a big screen today, I pulled the latest weeds from our flower beds. I then climbed on a tall chair and cut some of the ash's lowest lying branches, which tended to catch on the minivan's antenna. After that, I laid the ladder against the side of the house so that I could saw off the willow's branches that had grown too close to the roof's stucco rampart. Yet another trip to the dump then ensued.

Tonight... I'm monitoring work's computer system so I'll do some dishes, then watch one or two more Truffaut films. I should soon reach the ones that star Fanny Ardant.
