honesty and a pita
Nov. 16th, 2013 02:29 pmHonesty can be a pain in the ass.
I just came back from running errands, some of which involved returning clothes Sue had bought that don't fit. One was for something she'd bought on Sears's site, and for which they had sent double the order without making her pay for the extra stuff. I went to their store at the mall, where crowds already feel very Christmassy. That meant a long wait in a long line for a cashier to get to me. The next 15 minutes were spent with me idling while the store employee tried to figure how to dispose of the unpaid-for items, until he gave up and told me to just keep it. I expect that a Goodwill customer will appreciate it.
On the bright side... I then went to the bookstore next door and acquired a TARDIS keyring-cum-electric-torch.
