When Kitty Norville, werewolf heroine of Carrie Vaughn's "Kitty Steals the Show", is invited to be the keynote speaker at a conference on the supernatural in London, things once again quickly go awry, thanks to her tendency to want to help instead of minding her own business. That tendency has led her vampire allies, who normally have a low opinion of vampires, to declare her the Wolf Queen, a title that she doesn't deserve, in her own opinion. That's why she's the best for the job, in *my* opinion.
