almost a productive day

Today looked like it was going to be a productive day, and likely to allow me to complete an urgent project ahead of schedule, but it hit a slight snag. The project involved the setup of a data-transmission conduit to new servers, except that it's only today that the people in charge realized they'd provided the wrong server names. Oops.
