an improvised pina colada over (a)-(b)-(c)

Sue suggested last night that I don't hear back from prospective managers elsewhere within the company because (a) my years of seniority have made me too expensive, and because (b) I am too old, and because (c) my reputation as an outspoken person has spread far and wide and I don't have the skills that'd make me worth putting up with. She may be right.

But that didn't prevent me from enjoying the pina colada she then improvised for me. I focused on the good things in life, the friends I have, those nearby, and those too far away.
