tires of Doom

I had our car’s four tires replaced yesterday. Last time I did that, our then-car was crashed into a few weeks later and had to be replaced by our now-car.

I was poking around my email folders when I found a 5-year-old message to myself where I had recorded a link to this neat article by James Davis Nicoll about red dwarf stars. I wonder how big that star would look in the sky of a planet in its Goldilock Zone.
