Now that I am done, I shall go watch my DVD of the revamped Superman 2. It is my understanding that this version makes General Zod into a less silly villain. I doubt it. But, hey, today is our 21st wedding anniversary so of course one is entitled to having a good time.

The movie sucked. It wasn't as mean-spirited as the original version, but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily, that's nothing that going out for dinner with my wife can't take care of, especially with all the chips & salsa I'll I'll be scarfing up.

Thanks. After we went to a restaurant, I gave her the fabric she had bought for herself for the occasion, and she then gave me the DVD of Frankestein: The True Story that I had asked for. The two of us then started watching a John Agar movie, Journey to the 7th Planet and... and I proceeded to nod on and off thru the first half. By the time I stopped doing that, Sue outright fell asleep. By the time she woke up, the DVD had long ended and I had switched to TCM's An American in Paris. I guess all of this shows that we have definitely been married for 21 years.
