Tonight I took Freya in for a scheduled followup with the doctor who'd fixed her leg's cruciate ligament. He figured out why she's still favoring that leg. She's recovered well from her surgery, but he thinks her hip's ligaments had also suffered some damage although not as severe. He prescribed some painkillers so that she won't be reluctant about using her leg. Nature will follow its course.

Our fur kids worry us so. We've started Ms Angelina on a 2x per day gooshy food because she is Very Old and until just real recently we couldn't afford vet care. Except for yesterday, which was really frelling hot, she eats her ration pretty well. And as for 'dinner', demands it when I come into the door in the late afternoon...

My home vet care this week was very expensive, but there are three cats and the vet does come to the house. They are also much more interested in the cats and don't treat me like an idiot, like the previous one did while wearing and using a bluetooth during the exam.

I hope Angelina is doing well, too!

She's still favoring her leg, but then again we only started today. Eventually, she'll forget that she used to hurt.
