sergebroomTen years ago today, my wife and I completed our drive from California and began living in New Mexico. It was hard and lonely at first, what with my being a pioneer of telecommuting. One decade later, it's not uncommon for someone to work with a group that's more than one thousand miles away. For many years though, not a day went by when I didn't think about moving back to California - impossible as our financial situation made that.
My state of mind changed 3 years ago. Finally. What happened? First, a few people became very close friends, thanks to the internet, even though they live so far that we're lucky if we meet every 2 years. Close in the heart, if not on the Earth.
Also, 2 years ago, I became involved with the local SF club, and found a place where I belong.
