Today was a good day at the office, I'd say. Not only did I complete a project I'd been working on for months that everybody had been eager to see end, but, soon after I sent an email to the team to give them the news, my boss wrote back to thank me. And his response included his own boss, who also thanked me. Some team members also sent me their congrats. So, yes, a good day was had by yours truly.

::applauds::

(I remember a comic that once had a character shouting "Volcanoes! Novas! Explosions!" to indicate such happiness..)

Definitely "Volcanoes! Novas! Explosions!" and not just because I was beginning to wonder if my boss's boss ever is told about what I do. I was glad to be proven wrong.

Woot!

Congratulations & well done.

It's always gratifying to be recognized & acknowledged for one's efforts.

Thanks. My efforts have frequently been acknowledged by my peers, but management has been a bit more parcimonious. Maybe they don't want me to get too uppity. :-)

I certainly am not complaining about this turn of events, whether it lasts or not. Heheheh
