BayCon - day three and day four

sergebroomYesterday, I got to see an excerpt from a shadow puppet play of the late 18th century where the backlighting was provided by, I think, a cell phone. How SFnal is that?
Besides that... I chatted with people I usually meet only thru the internet, I attended interesting panels, I bought some books. Sue and I again went out for dinner with friend Yoko, after which we all went up to our room where we chatted until 11pm. Yoko and I talked about my work situation and she gave me some pointers on how to possibly improve things.
Today... So far we've packed as much as we can back into our trusty minivan. After lunch, Sue will be on a Paranormal Romance panel with one other woman. We don't expect there'll be much of an attendance, what with most of the hotel's fannish population already gone or getting ready to do so. When that's done, it'll be a 50-mile drive up north to the East Bay, where Sue's family will be celebrating her dad's birthday.
