On June 17, the 4400 and the dead zone begin a new season. I am very much looking forward to that, especially where the 4400 is concerned. (I wonder if they'll bring Alice Krige's character from the future.) The following night, it's the beginning of the closer. Then, on July 10, be still my heart, Doctor Who and Eureka return.

I'm feeling dizzy at the thought of such an embarassment of riches.

I'm looking forward to some of those shows myself. USA has a bunch of 4400 related goodies on their website, and this came across SciFi Wire a bit ago:

Ira Steven Behr, executive producer of USA Network's SF series The 4400, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming fourth season will introduce a new regular character, played by Australian actress Jenni Baird.

I know I've mentioned it before, but my TV reception is weird. I don't have cable, but we've picked up USA on the antenna for years, and right now we are getting 15 cable channels. John is glued to SciFi or TCM every evening. It's going to be hard on him when/if it goes away.

Your significant other is glued to TCM every evening? He's a man of great taste, I see. TCM and the original version of AMC gave me the chance of appreciating some actors I didn't use to care for, like Edward G. Robinson.

Thanks for the tip about The 4400. I liked how they ended the previous season. It was open-ended, but at the same time it resolved some things with a sense of hope so that, if the show had not been renewed, it wouldn't have felt incomplete. I'm not sure if this makes any sense.

By the way, may I ask which of those shows you are looking forward to? Simple curiosity.
