a necessary villain

I've been told by local writer Victor Milan that, in the followup to his Tor novel "Dinosaur Lords" edited by David Hartwell Jim Frenkel, there will be a Necessary Villain modeled after yours truly, due to my elegance. The Necessary Villain is to be called Dragos. I approve of the villainous name, but question my reputation for elegance.
