conquest of space

It had been a long time since I last watched George Pal’s “Conquest of Space” so I popped in my dvd. Not Pal’s best, especially with its use of ‘comic’ relief, but interesting in its attempt at more realistic space exploration. I must say though that the realism didn’t extend to checking on the psychological health of the ship’s crew.
