At the beginning of every year, I buy the World Almanac - a tradition I began in 1994 as I was preparing for my citizenship test. On June 23 will be the 30th anniversary of my first taking the Pledge of Alliance.

Thanks! I'm not sure though why wrote 'Alliance' instead of 'Allegiance'. How embarassing!
