Did my duty. Got to the polling place, a school's gym, Found three lines, but no sign saying which letters of the alphabet each line was for. I told one woman also wondering if she was in the correct line "Hey, we're Democrats, of course we're disorganised." Naturally I was in the wrong line. That's OK. Everybody was in a good mood, both the voters and the poll workers.

voted in the a.m., just in case our weather turned to shit.

It hasn't yet. But we could get a couple inches on the overnight. And it could be slick because it rained all day.

All three parties had a ballot, the D ballot pile was going down, the R ballots and the I ballot were still fairly fluffy at 10 a.m.

No that it's done, I am looking forward to, and dreading, November's re-visiting the ballot box. There willl be a lot of rejoicing for us if things go the way we want.

Yup. Picked Cassie up from daycare, and we went on to vote. I let her put the ballot in the reader. I've taken her to vote with me every year, and plan to keep doing so until she's old enough to vote herself! :)
