Yesterday, one of my co-workers received an email from one tech-support person I've dealt with a lot. I liked the first and last sentences, once all the middle stuff has been thrown out.

That being said, it'd be nice if my being the Man were an evaluation of my person shared by management. Instead, when I get a yearly review and I'm told that I am a valuable member of the team, I have this urge to check my shoe soles in case I had stepped into something.
