Should you scroll to the bottom of today's post by Kaja Foglio, you will find a link to a photo of my cat genius Agatha.

You're famous! And that human who feeds you is, too!

Oh, hey Serge! Don't drop Agatha's wrenches, now.

But of course. I am taking good care of the little wench's wrenches and winches until her paws get big enough to handle them. Not sure she ever will get much bigger though. Fatter, probably, skinny as she may be right now. By the way, she just got a booster shot administered by the very vet who'd spayed her last week, and she gave Agatha's scar the thumbs up.

Good scar! Good healing!

And, I will bet you that no matter how petite Ms. Agatha stays, she will always be able to stomp on her humans. My Kedgie stomps across us all the time. I don't know how she does it, but stomp she does.

Among the thousands of photos in various albums (and bags awaiting placement in albums) that I have around this house is one of our now-deceased little grey cat curled up inside a newly-washed and waiting-to-be-put-away silver punchbowl.

It was a tossup between "Awww" and "Blast you, get outta there!"

Agatha's a cutie.

She definitely is a cutie. She also likes to claw the couch, which is when I realize it's time to bring out the rod. No, not that kind of rod. It's a flexible wand with a string tied at one end. There were feathers attached to the string, but they were quickly decimated.

She's not too keen on being picked off the ground, but she does like curling up next to us. When she's awake though... It had been years since we had such a young cat, and I had forgotten how full of energy they are.

Agatha reminds me a bit of my grandkittie Jello who loves sinks too!

I guess sinks make for great nests.
"Jello", eh?

Could be short for "Jellicle", maybe?

(Someone I know once named a cat Evan Jellicle, which must be one of the greatest cat names ever.)

*Good* coughgagsplutter, or *bad* coughgagsplutter?

Wonderfully good coughgagsplutter, with coffee coming out of my nostrils.
