Don't you love it when your manager decides to hold a meeting on how to make meetings more interactive, then forgets to tell you about the change in schedule, which results in your not having time for lunch?

Isn't a meeting-about-meetings the fifth Horseman or something?

It is that, yes, and a few other things that I shall refrain from naming.

Sounds like SOP to me... except that'd be a meeting where the manager blathers on, and then wonders why nobody wants to participate...

I guess you're right. It was quite SOP. Of course, when my manager asked me if I had suggestions, I simply said no because there really is no point in saying anything that went against what he/she likes Reality to be. Oh well.

I find that I'm often choked by the sheer number of highly appropriate but CLM suggestions that come to mind... probably for the better, all things concerned.

Of course it goes without saying (but let's say it anyway) that some suggestions and observations would be quite inappropriate, one of which is that meetings went much more smoothly and productively when he/she was away during the previous two weeks.
