Yay! Tonight on the USA Network is the premiere of Burn Notice's 2nd season. I mean, what is there not to like? This is the story of Michael Westen, a spy who lost his job for reasons he can't figure out. He's now stuck in Miami with his chainsmoking mom and, while trying to find why he was Burned, he takes on various detective jobs, among other things recovering the savings of little old ladies with the help of a former colleague and of a crazy girlfriend who thinks that giving her an antique Soviet pistol is the way to make her happy when she's not using the hero's kitchen to make a batch of explosives.

From left to right: Sharon Gless, Bruce Campbell, Jeffrey Donovan and Gabrielle Anwar.

Bruce Campbell - YAY!
Tania's TV doesn't get USA anymore (now it's picking up TBS and A&E) - BOO!

Oh well. Enjoy it for me!

Why don't you get USA?

I only have broadcast (John and cable is a bad idea, he'd never leave the telly). But we pick up the "wireless cable" that is locally broadcast. A variety of channels are scrambled, and then not scrambled. I had USA for 7 years. I get TCM sporadically. We had ABC Family for about 2 years. It's weird, but the price is reasonable.

I did, and did I ever tell you of the time I met Bruce Campbell in 2001, when he was on a tour for his book If Chins Could Talk?

Anyway, yes, I enjoyed yesterday's first episode, until the very end. It looks like Gabrielle Anwar's character of the crazy girlfriend won't be in as much from now on. I am quite bummed.
