Note to self... When you have recovered your cat after it ran out of the house and into the backyard, do not hold it too close to your face. Cats get spooked by loud noises from the neighbor's yard.

Definitely ow. Agatha was high enough against my chest that, when the neighbor's dog started barking, she managed to dig one claw right at the edge of my lower lip. No gash, but there was a puncture.

To say I was unhappy with Agatha making me bleed a bit is an understatement. That didn't stop her from later deciding that sleeping next to my laptop was the best way for her to recover from the day's trauma.
