residence confirmed

Following up on my entry of September 19, I wish to confirm that I do live in Eureka. Not only did the move to our next-level test server reveal a bug in my work, but someone else's program failed, bringing everything to a halt because of a tablespace shortage and that person isn't around right now. Oh, and did I tell you about another possible bug that I haven't looked into yet because of the other bug and because of that tablespace problem? Sure, it's well past midnight, but who said that programmers had a right to a life, or to sleep, especially when a deadline looms quite large?

I'm calling it quits for tonight. I guess I'll post that entry about Billy Joel's Piano Man tomorrow. Or rather, later today.

Not really like Fargo. He's a walking disaster. I really feel more like Jack, especially since the user's manager seems to think she's Stark, in that her opinion of my opinions reveals a low opinion of my intelligence.

On the other hand, I don't have a deputy Jo to help me.
