I have come to the conclusion that in every couple there is one who remembers the Anniversary Day, and one who does not.

At least she remembers the correct month. ;-)

Definitely not. This morning, I asked my wife if she remembered the date of our wedding, and the only part she got right was the month. Not the day, nor the year.

Heck no. It's a Law of Nature. It goes hand-in-hand with the other Law of Nature that states "One member of a couple must be hot, requiring open windows all winter long; the other member must be cold, requiring heat in the summer." About the only Law of Nature we do not follow -- because we are unnatural sorts of beings -- is the toilet seat one. We don't have to worry about it being up or down.

As for those two events... They're only related in that they happened on the same day. I do have a tendency towards TMI. I could have also mentionned that on that day I also bought a Bradbury collection titled A Sound of Thunder, but people might start wondering if 'storm' and 'thunder' were code words about our relationship. Heheheh.

That being said, I love going back to that Dean book every once if a while, especially the section that shows his illustrations for War of the Worlds.

Thanks! So far, we've been celebrating by rearranging some of Sue's many boxes of clothes. Next, she'll resume plotting her proposal for a fantasy book, which I'll hopefully be able to contribute to with reasonably intelligent suggestions. After that, we'll go to Outback for dinner, then back home for a movie.
