Agatha Heterodyne... The story so far... She's managed to trick an uncontrollable robot into a room where Castle Heterodyne was able to crush it without squishing the naked hunky guy who was on top of the robot.

Agatha the Cat Genius... The story so far... She's managed to break that heavy-duty flashlight I had for about 15 years.

How did the cat do it?

She knocked it over and down onto a hard surface. This happened more than once before she was a glimmer in the eyes of her momma and papa, but she must have been the proverbial one time too many. (I've also called her other tings, especially when she ran out a few nights ago and refused to come back in until it was one hour after midnight.)

Hee. She's well-named, she is.

She is indeed, and all too well. This is the same Agatha who, when I confined her in one bathroom, squirmed her way thru a narrow air vent and took the correct turn so that she'd wind up in the other bathroom - where she found herself trapped because that bathroom's vent plate was screwed on.

At least she didn't try to escape by dismantling my hair dryer to build a giant clank out of it.

Clearly it was time for a new one! You don't want to be stuck using outdated technology, do you?

Sure, but she could at least have tried to fix and improve my flashlight. You'd think that'd be easier than tinkering with a coffeemaker like her namesake did.

Maybe she did improve it -- and you just can't tell! Puny humans, and all that.

I suppose you'll suggest the ridiculous notion that she made it into a device that could change our Reality where cats are the masters and... and... Naaah.

It should be easy enough to tell whether she's changed reality: just look outside. If the sky isn't green, and the trees aren't beginning their yearly migration south, then she's changed everything and we're all doomed!

Is the collar in the picture related in any way to the failure of the flashlight?

Yes! That's how I punished that bad cat! Hahahahah!!!

Actually, that photo is from this year's Tax day after the vet did the Operation on her. I thought this looked appropriate for an entry about Mad Science and Bad Cats.
