I spent the whole weekend outside of the Tube, physically. And mentally, which meant that, every time I'd find myself delving upon the big project's latest snag, I immediately crushed the thought. Of course, just because I took a rest away from the office doesn't mean that I twiddled my thumbs. Au contraire. I implemented some long-overdue updates to Sue's site. A tree branch fell on my head when the recalcitrant limb, in spite of the deep bite of my saw, refused to come down until I put my whole weight to it. And I helped Sue's with Autumn's last gasps of gardening, taking plants out of the ground and putting them elsewhere in the ground, from the ground and into pots, from small pots to bigger pots, moving pots and, behind one of them, finding a dead dove crawling with maggots.

And I forgot to mention that, over the weekend, I finally found what had been stinking up the garage for so many days before the smell became sickly sweet... Who'd have thought that a tiny mouse could do that?
