"Now face the terror of the hand-cranked runcible gun!"

The hand-cranked runcible gun?

That's what happens when young men fall in love with Agatha Heterodyne. They feel the need to act like mad scientists and throw forks at green-haired ladies.

Right. We have a spark who throws sporks, not forks. Soon spoons?

And get the sporks deflected back into him! I'm not sure we should call them sporks, though. Sporks are plastic. At the level of civilization we're seeing in GG, it wasn't unusual to have a single utensil for both sticking and scooping.

You mean that there is no such thing as a metal spork in our Reality?

Well, someone has probably made one, in fact, I seem to remember one that had a sharpened edge so it was a knife, too, but it's not what I think of as a spork.

I think there was an xkcd cartoon about someone crossbreeding spoons, forks and knives, and the whole thing ends, a few silverware generations later, in a blood bath.

My colleague has one that came with her bento box*. Coincidentally, I saw it for the first time last night, and was surprised it existed.

*not sure that's the right word. It's a big thermos kind of thing, with several stacking compartments inside.

Yes, some bento boxes come that way. Others are rectangular with other little boxes inside.

ThinkGeek sells an Ultimate Spork made out of *dramatic musical sting* Titanium!, which was still a metal last time I checked.

(And the runcible gun is named after the runcible spoon, which was metal - but it's an open question whether it counts as a type of spork.)

So the new knee that my wife is getting on November 12 is made of the same metal as the ultimate spork?
