No, my wife isn't as old as Hadrian's Wall, but today is her 50th birthday. My California girl Sue will be spending most of the day out with her mom and two sisters, all of them hubby-less. I don't feel snubbed. In fact, that was my idea. Tonight of course the whole family will celebrate together.

I can't wait for her to open the 'talking' birthday card that plays the theme from the Twilight Zone. Last year, she was given one that had Mister Spock referring to complete, total annihilation.

Thanks. Hopefully, by the time the time the men join the wimminfolk, Sue won't have been doing so much walking around that her knee will feel like it's killing her.

You mean that wall's not in your back yard?

Happy Birthday to Sue!

At least our wall stops coyotes from coming in our backyard. I think. If not, they'd have eaten Agatha the Cat Genius on one of those nights when she manages to run past us to Freedom. (She usually comes back after one hour because she finds that nights are dark and cold.)

Julius Caesar, to start with, and then Pope Gregory (xxx?) modified it a bit. An astronomer helped Julius and he probably just wasn't quite accurate.

Big Julie had more important fish to fry, I think; accuracy wasn't high on his list (Gaul? Only three parts?).
