sergebroomDo science-fiction readers often have science-fictional dreams? I don't myself, but I did, early this morning.
I'm visiting the Bay Area right now. Early this year, after more than 7 years of living in New Mexico, I finally accepted that I'd never move back to the Bay. Still, one dreams.
I was in another star system, way out in deep space. I said I wanted to go back home. Someone else was there and pointed out that it'd take me 10 years. the steps of my life had led me much farther away than I had realized, and the implication was that I'd never go home.
