the Hugo preliminaries

A couple of days ago, I received my PIN to vote for the Hugo preliminaries, which will close at the end of February. That leaves me time enough to come up with some nominations. If you have some suggestions, please do pass them on. Note that I regularly read Asimov's and Realms of Fantasy, but that leaves plenty of other publications, online and offline.

By the way, it is my understanding that, at this year's worldcon, the Hugo Committee will vote on the ratification of a rule change proposed last year that would allow blogs to be eligible in the fanzine category.

It's about time, what with SF being the literature of the Future.

I'm going to nominate Shadow Unit as the best semiprozine, but I haven't read any short stories this year. I've read some books, but I can't remember which ones are eligible. How do I find out?
