That bit at the end tying Obama's words to atheism annoyed me, and I'm an atheist. Obama is religious, as far as I know, and having one's words used to support the opposite position is something I don't like.

And it takes away from the main point of Obama's words. Could you imagine the Other Guy publicly say that sometimes Science says uncomfortable things, and that we should not ignore it because of that?

Yes, it mentions his "atheist education" -- but I think that it just means school vs. homeschool, since he never had a specific atheist class.
