I got the mos recent Locus in the mail yesterday and it contained an article that confirmed what I had heard rumors about: the latest issue of Realms of Fantasy turned out to be their last.

I am bummed.
To put it mildly.

There's been a lot of discussion about this on the Internet after SFScope.com first broke the story. It is possible that the company may be trying to find a buyer for the magazine.

I had heard of that possibility on Rixo, and it was mentionned in the Locus article. I hope it happens, and I'd be one of the first to subscribe.

I think I have one year left on the old publisher's subscription. Still, I'd better make sure, and extend my sub if possible, if only to give them a clear signal that I (and others) want to keep the magazine alive.
