Is there anybody who lives in New York City who'd be willing to record something onto their DVR and from there onto a DVD?

It's my understanding that the local PBS station will be airing Nina Paley's "Sita sings the Blues" on March 7. I'd normally wait for the DVD, but there probably never will be one because of the copyright issues over the songs. That being said, I'd have nominated for the movie Hugo if I had known about it. I mean, it has a blue-skinned god, batwinged-one-eyed monsters, warrior monkeys. What else does it take for a movie to qualify?

UPDATE: I found somebody to make a copy of the movie. Yay!

That sounds nice. Who knows? If "Sita" makes it as a Hugo finalist, the worldcon would show it on a big screen.

Thanks! Should that other person be unable to make a copy (from the DVD that he got from Paley herself), I have a backup source. I'll make a donation to Paley, of course.
