quite sick

I finally got to take some time from that big project last Friday. Not quite under the kind of circumstances I'd have liked, mind you.

The week before last, one of Sue's friends came to visit us and the two of them went for a tour of the SouthWest most of that week. The day after they came back, Sue's friend came down with the stomach flu and had to delay her flight back home until she had recovered enough. Sue was in charge of taking care of her since the friend was too embarassed by the whole situation to have a man help. So, of course, after she was gone, Sue came down with the stomach flu, which was bad enough that, for 24 hours, she was unable to keep even water down. I took care of Sue, naturally, and screw the consequences. Still, a few days after she had recovered, I was quite relieved that I was showing no symptom of the flu. You can guess what happened a few hours after I posted my previous entry.

My own episode wasn't too bad, I guess. Unfortunately, I needed rest and couldn't find it because, for every frigging night since then, I've been dreaming of tasks related to the big project - most of them imaginary - that absolutely need to be taken care of pronto.

That is quite sick.
