Cats do come out of bags.
First though, they have to go inside of them.

Last evening, Agatha the Cat Genius again escaped out of the house. She could be seen roaming around the backyard and obviously was not going to be lured back so we went back in. When it got darker though, Agatha had not shown up yet and we worried that she had jumped over the wall and disappeared forever. We called her name again and again, to no avail, until my wife heard a well-known meow. She looked up.

Agatha was on the roof of the house.

I brought out our aluminium ladder, put it against the wall, and up I went around on the flat roof until I managed to coax Agatha within arm's reach. She tried to escape, and clawed pinprick holes in my shirt, but I somehow managed not to lose any of my blood. There was a problem though. How do you get down a flimsy ladder one-handed with an uncooperative feline against your chest.

You don't.

I told my wife, who was down on the ground, to go get a pillowcase. She tossed it up, but it landed on the edge of the roof. Very cautiously, I leaned forward and picked up the pillowcase while holding on to the gesticulating Agatha, then somehow managed to get her stuffed into the improvised bag without any damage to my person. As I went down the ladder, the bag's struggling contents expressed their displeasure until I got inside the house.

Then the cat came out of the bag.
sergebroom: (Eureka)
According to Scifi.com, Eureka will definitely have a 4th season, beginning in July, and on Friday nights instead of the old Tuesday time slot. The site doesn't say exactly when in July, but it's definitely coming.

Yay!
